The Little Tramp in Stamp

                                                          Charlie Chaplin

Charlie Chaplin was a world-wide cinematic phenomenon. He rose from the era of silent movies to become a prolific actor and director. He would be a key founder of United Artists, a premier film distribution company, giving him total artistic control of his movies and projects.

Probably, least known for his musical endeavor, Charlie Chaplin was a songwriter too. He penned "Smile" and "This Is My Song"- two great song standards.

"arguably the single most important artist produced by the cinema, certainly its most extraordinary performer and probably still its most universal icon" - Andrew Sarris, Film Critic
